Shari (McCarthy) Duncan

Shari Duncan, 55 of Dawson Springs passed away Friday, February 6, 2026, at Dawson Springs Health and Rehab.  Born August 22, 1970, to the late Earl Edward McCarthy and the late Donna Sue Hendrix McCarthy of Owensboro.  Shari spent her time making her house a home for her family.  She enjoyed spending her spare time fishing at Carpenters Lake and playing Bingo.  Shari also had a love for gardening and tending to her plants.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Gene Nelson III, he only lived 29 days, but his blessings lived with her for a lifetime.

Survived by her son, Travis (Denise) Duncan of Evansville, IN; two daughters, Brittany Nelson of Owensboro and Kimberly Pierce; brother, Stephen (Tiffany) McCarthy of Owensboro; sister, Tracy Sanders of Owensboro; and several grandchildren.
